FLATBED FREIGHT TRANSPORT
TX1800 provides flatbed freight transport for compatible business and private loads. Open-deck access can make it practical to load from the rear, side or above when the facility supplies suitable equipment, but cargo dimensions, weight, packaging, securement and weather exposure must all be reviewed first.
Common requests include crated equipment, compatible machinery, pallets, fabricated items, building or jobsite materials and business purchases. Send exact dimensions and weights for every piece rather than a rough description such as “one bundle.”
Tell us whether the shipper plans to use a forklift, telehandler, loader or crane and from which side it will approach. The receiver needs an equally specific unloading method and enough safe space around the trailer.
Identify approved tie-down points, sharp edges, delicate finishes, movable parts and anything that cannot accept strap or chain pressure. Packaging, dunnage, edge protection and covering requirements should be agreed before pickup.
Open-deck freight is exposed unless a specific covering plan is accepted. A tarp is not a substitute for packaging and may not suit every shape or material. Disclose moisture sensitivity, finished surfaces and contamination concerns in the quote request.
Flatbed freight can be moved between suppliers, warehouses, businesses, ranches and jobsites. Provide pickup references, hours, check-in rules, contacts and delivery windows so route time and expected waiting can be included.
